A Big Day and Night for Jacob

Jacob Martin Sonenshine had his Bar Mitzvah at Agudas Achim Congregation of Northern Virginia in Alexandria, Virginia on September 17, 2022.

The weekend started on Friday with a dinner at the restaurant Cheesetique hosted by Jacob’s grandparents, Nancy Sonenshine and Howard and Terri Garfinkel.

Jacob’s Bar Mitzvah party was Saturday night at a restaurant/bar, Punch Bowl Social, hosted by Jacob's parents, David and Joanne Sonenshine. Jacob is a hockey player and big fan of the Washington Capitals. There was a special guest at Jacob’s party, the Capitals' mascot, Slapshot, who performed to the delight of all.

Family and friends attended from near and far.
